Lakemont Masters Program
The Lakemont Masters Program (LMP) is a swim program open to any adult Lakemont member. The program is designed to help you become more efficient in the water by improving your stroke technique and building your endurance.
At LMP, you will receive swimming workouts designed by Katie Humphries and Jessie McBroom, the Lakemont swim coaches. These workouts are designed to help you achieve your goals in the pool whether it is to train for a triathlon, become more physically fit, or just be more comfortable in the water.
There will be two Masters levels this summer at Lakemont.
Level 1
Level 1 Masters is for adults who are comfortable in the water, but do not know the four strokes. During Level 1 Masters, we will be very focused on technique and use drills to break apart each stroke. By the end of the 5 week session, you will have built up your endurance to swimming multiple laps in a row.
Level 2
Level 2 Maters is best suited for adults wanting a challenging workout. The Level 2 group will use stroke drills to improve swimming technique, however a portion of the practice will be devoted to endurance swimming and workouts that will increase your heart rate.
Practice Schedule
The LMP will run from Monday, June 11 until Saturday, July 21.

Saturday – 9-10 am
Level 2
Monday – 6-7 am
Tuesday – off

Thursday – 6-7 am
Friday – 6-7 am
Saturday – 8-9 am
The cost is $75 for the 5 week session. Please make your checks payable to Katie Humphries.
